Open Studio Reservations
We’re open to the local community during select hours each week, offering a perfect opportunity to explore working with clay.
To ensure everyone has a smooth experience, reservations are required. Simply choose the activity you’d like to join below to reserve your spot. Open Studio is $20 per hour for each person working with clay. If you’re accompanying a child just to assist, there’s no fee for your time.
A $20 deposit is required when booking and will be applied to your total at checkout. We look forward to seeing you in the studio!

Open Studios hours at Capitol Hill are transitioning to our newly opened Madison Park Location located less than a mile away.

First Visit
Hand-Building Reservation
Our open studio host will provide everything you need to create your own hand-built pottery in the studio. If you plan to glaze your work, it will be ready 10 days after creation—simply book a glazing appointment below.
Alternatively, if you’re making decorative pieces, feel free to paint them the same day with our vibrant stroke & coat glazes.
No prior pottery experience necessary

First Visit
Pottery Wheel Reservation
Open studio sessions are perfect for anyone with prior wheel experience who wants to work independently and continue their clay journey at their own pace.
During your session, you can place your work on our keep-wet cart and return later for trimming. Firing is included with your reservation, and your pieces will be ready for the next stage 10 days after creation. Once your work is fired, simply schedule a glazing appointment to finish and bring your creations to life.

Second Visit
Glazing Reservation
Reserve your glazing appointment 10 days after your initial session to allow time for the first firing.
Once glazed, your pieces will go through the kiln one last time and be ready for pickup 10 days after your glazing appointment.
Open Studio Information:
Open Studio is $20 per hour for each participating student. If you’re accompanying a child to assist, there’s no charge for your time. The $20 deposit you pay when booking will be applied toward your total cost at checkout.
After glazing, your pieces will go through a final kiln firing and will be ready for pickup 10 days after your glaze visit. You can drop by during any open studio time to pick up your finished work.
